Total Amount

e.g. 5 mg

Recon Volume

e.g. 2 mL

Dose

e.g. 250 mcg

Draw Volume

→ 0.10 mL / 10 IU

Based on a standard U-100 syringe (100 units = 1 mL)

How the Peptide Calculator Works

Reconstitution (mg + mL)

Reconstitution means dissolving a lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide in bacteriostatic water. Enter the total amount in mg and the volume of water in mL — the calculator instantly shows your concentration (mg/mL).

IU vs mg — What's the Difference?

IU (International Units) is used for some compounds, while syringe units refer to the markings on a U-100 insulin syringe. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL. BMX Lab helps calculate the correct draw amount from either mg or IU-based vial inputs.

Syringe Unit Calculation

Once your concentration is known, divide your desired dose by the concentration to get your draw volume in mL — then multiply by 100 to read it directly off a standard insulin syringe in units. BMX Lab does this in real time, eliminating manual maths errors.
